Ms. Cimino-DeRose joined Montague DeRose and Associates in 1998, following nine years of municipal finance experience as an issuer and as a financial advisor - serving clients in California, Washington, Missouri, Connecticut and Massachusetts. She began her finance career in 1980, while employed as a credit analyst and commercial banker in California at First Interstate Bank, and subsequently, Union Bank. She has completed, as an issuer or financial advisor, more than $11 billion in short term and long-term financings.
Prior to joining Montague DeRose and Associates, Ms. Cimino-DeRose opened and managed the West Coast regional office of P.G. Corbin & Company, Inc. During her tenure at the firm, she was responsible for creating a presence for the firm and had sole responsibility for regional business development and client service. She has participated in a wide array of financings, including general obligation bonds, motor vehicle fuel tax bonds, sales tax-backed bonds, Certificates of Participation, lease revenue bonds, water and wastewater revenue bonds, airport revenue bonds, leasehold revenue bonds and fare box-backed bonds.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Ms. Cimino-DeRose managed the State of Connecticut Clean Water Fund Revenue Bond Program, one of the State's most complex and sophisticated debt programs. She hired and directed staff, bond counsel and the financial advisors in the conceptualization and creation of the master trust indenture, official statement and cash flows. This served as the basis for financing nearly $3 billion in state wastewater infrastructure. In addition to her responsibilities coordinating debt issuance for the Clean Water Fund, Ms. Cimino-DeRose developed and managed the administrative details of the program, including loan review and a computerized general ledger accounting system.
Ms. Cimino-DeRose received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University and a Masters in Public and Private Management degree from the School of Organization and Management at Yale University.
